I chose Lonza because…
Lonza is at the forefront of developing innovative, cutting-edge technologies that bring life-altering treatments to people. You know that your efforts are going to reach and make a direct impact on the customer..

Since I started at Lonza, my career has progressed…
…very satisfactorily. I have been able to take ownership of projects and assume a variety of responsibilities. Lonza offers plenty of opportunities to take on a diverse range of assignments, which helps you to develop from both a technical and a personal perspective.

It’s special to work at Lonza because…
We have the ability to reach out to and directly impact people across the world. It is very fulfilling to know that our research into developing treatments will benefit patients in the not-so-distant future. There’s also a good working atmosphere, work-life balance, good collegial relationships, and opportunities to grow.

My work is meaningful because…
I am able to help offer solutions to patients and their families by developing products that their lives depend on. We provide hope.

What makes me feel good at the end of the working day is…
The opportunity to perform R&D in a customer-centric, client-facing organization. There is a real sense of accomplishment every time a project is completed and handed over to manufacturing, bringing it one step closer to reality. That feeling of pride makes me happy to be here.

The most exciting thing about working at Lonza is…
The technology. Gene therapy is a highly niche and thought-provoking field, but also a challenging one – much of the science is still unknown. As one of the few treatment modes currently accepted by the FDA, gene therapy offers a lifeline for patients with genetic disorders, while generating a great deal of interest and demand.

What I most appreciate about my team is…
They’re friendly, willing to help and nice to work with. I work in a group of nine, which makes communication easy and encourages collaboration.
