What you will do:
Lead and support operational readiness activities for technology transfers and process campaigns, including MBR development/revision and Change Requests.
Manage and execute operational run activities, supporting deviation assessments, CAPAs, and rejected material management.
Lead investigations for deviations, non-conformities, and trends, performing root cause analysis and defining appropriate CAPAs.
Facilitate discussions with SMEs and Quality Assurance specialists to ensure timely investigation closure and lot disposition.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within Manufacturing operations, identifying and implementing tangible benefits.
Initiate and actively guide/mentor junior team members, fostering their development within the department.
Uphold data integrity principles, proactively evaluating and improving processes in accordance with Lonza policies.
What we are looking for:
A bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical/Biochemical) or Science (Biochemistry/Chemistry/Microbiology).
Demonstrated ability to perform two out of three critical manufacturing aspects: Readiness, Run, and Release.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and operational knowledge of manufacturing equipment.
Excellent communication, presentation, and technical writing skills.
Proven ability to manage changing priorities and deliver results with agility.
Experience in leading deviation investigations and root cause analysis using structured methodologies (e.g., 5-Why's, Ishikawa).
A proactive approach to identifying areas for improvement and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
