RTR Analyst
Location: San Jose, Costa Rica

What you will do:
Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities, including accruals, prepayments, provisions, rebates, bank reconciliations and other general ledger accounting tasks.
Prepare and analyze balance sheet reconciliations, investigate discrepancies and collaborate with stakeholders to drive timely resolution.
Maintain accurate financial records and reporting in compliance with Lonza policies, US GAAP and IFRS requirements.
Execute day-to-day RTR activities while identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls and operational efficiency.
Partner with Senior Analysts and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Assist with internal and external audit requirements by preparing supporting documentation and ensuring audit readiness.
Provide cross-functional support to accounting operations, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities as required.
What we are looking for:
Bachelor's degree or technical qualification in Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline.
Experience in a Record-to-Report (RTR), General Ledger or shared services accounting environment.
Knowledge of month-end close processes, balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger accounting activities.
Understanding of accounting principles, with exposure to US GAAP and/or IFRS considered an advantage.
Experience working with SAP or other ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
Effective communication skills in English and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders in a global environment.
