The full-time annual base pay for this position in The Netherlands is expected to range between 41.250,- EUR and 57.750,- EUR. Initial salary placement within this range will be determined based on role‑related factors such as experience, qualifications, and expected contribution. 

What you’ll do:

  • Execute multi-step syntheses, optimize processes through strategic reaction planning, systematic analysis, and effective troubleshooting. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of experimental data in an electronic laboratory journal.

  • Synthesize, purify and characterize compounds using a variety of techniques, including silica- and reversed phase column chromatography, crystallization, LCMS, NMR and HPLC.

  • Perform literature searches and stay abreast of recent advances in organic chemistry to contribute innovative solutions and improve synthetic strategies.

  • ·Write technical protocols and reports.

  • ·Review technical protocols and reports from CDMOs.

  • Contribute technical knowledge and expertise in discussions with our clients.

  • Prepare and revise analytical standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Support general CMC activities such as laboratory equipment maintenance, supply and inventory management.

What we’re looking for:

  • BSc./MSc.in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry or related.

  • Having a strong technical knowledge of synthetic organic processes.

  • 0 - 4 years experience with performing multi-step organic syntheses.

  • Strong laboratory skills and a high degree of attention to detail

  • Ability to prepare and revise analytical standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Good understanding of, and hands-on experience with, analytical techniques such as HPLC, LCMS and NMR.

  • A responsible person with a proactive attitude who can work independently.

  • Being flexible, analytical, and well-organized.

  • A team player.
