I was initially attracted to Lonza by its reputation in the Greenwood community as a leading employer with excellent benefits, and I quickly recognized it as a place I could call home. My first role at Lonza was in the IT department, where I was able to earn several industry certifications while managing PC deployment and troubleshooting PC issues with both colleagues and external customers. It was those customer relationships that soon launched my career in sales as a Territory Sales Manager for the US west coast. In 2006 I relocated to California to be closer to my customers.
In 2009, another career change within Lonza brought me back to Greenwood for a role in Market Development and Customer Service, and most recently I took on a role as a Territory Sales Manager for the Midwest US region. In this role, I am responsible for implementing strategic plans with customers to grow their business which results in sales for Lonza. I promote the Capsules & Health Ingredients product portfolio to existing, new, and potential customers.
Today, I still consider Lonza a place to call home. I remain motivated by Lonza’s willingness to grow its portfolio and I value the opportunites I’ve been afforded to impact the customers and patients we serve.
