This role leads a multi-shift manufacturing operation focused on printing and finishing two-piece hard capsules, offering the opportunity to drive quality, productivity, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment.
Fully Site-Based Role
This is a fully site‑based role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

What you will do:
- Lead and oversee a 24/7 multi-shift printing and finishing operation to ensure safety, quality, and productivity targets are achieved.
- Monitor and improve key production metrics (daily, weekly, monthly) and implement process and product improvements.
- Develop, coach, and mentor a large team, including Process Engineers and Shift Leaders, to strengthen technical and leadership capabilities.
- Manage departmental budget, cost controls, and overtime to meet financial and operational targets.
- Partner cross-functionally with support teams to ensure efficient plant operations and alignment with business goals.
- Drive a strong safety culture by analyzing safety data and implementing programs to prevent incidents and lost time accidents.
- Establish and maintain departmental policies, procedures, and standard operating instructions to ensure consistency and compliance.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Management.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong ability to lead large, multi-skilled, multi-shift teams in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate.
- Experience managing budgets, performance metrics, and operational improvements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; SAP experience is a plus.
- Strong decision-making skills with the ability to work independently and respond to changing situations.
- Working knowledge or experience in a Print Department (preferred).
