Play a key role in strengthening supplier quality across Lonza’s global network. As a Supplier Quality Professional, you will ensure compliance, drive consistency, and enable continuous improvement across supplier-related processes, directly supporting the delivery of high-quality products to patients worldwide.
This is an office‑first role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and team alignment, enabling us to deliver our best work. You will work primarily in the office, with the flexibility to work remotely for 40% of your time (two days per week).

What you will do
- Manage end-to-end supplier quality processes, including vendor change notifications (VCNs), supplier quality agreements (QAAs), and supplier complaints
- Review and approve supply chain records governing materials, services, and equipment across the global network
- Assess supplier-related requests using analytical and risk-based decision-making to ensure compliance and quality continuity
- Coordinate cross-functional impact assessments with stakeholders (MSAT, QC, Manufacturing, Procurement, Planning)
- Maintain accurate and compliant supplier documentation and ensure alignment across quality systems and tools (e.g., SAP, VSCI)
- Monitor KPIs related to supplier quality processes, identifying risks, delays, and opportunities for improvement
- Act as a key point of contact for global supplier quality processes, supporting audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives
What we are looking for
- Experience within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry, ideally in quality or supply chain environments
- Strong understanding of cGMP requirements, regulatory expectations, and quality management systems
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills
- Ability to manage complex, cross-functional processes and make sound decisions in ambiguous situations
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across global teams
- Degree in a relevant scientific field such as Biochemistry, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Microbiology, or Biotechnology (or equivalent experience)
- Business fluency in English
