Prior to joining, Emily held a number of roles in validation and process engineering in the mammalian and E. coli cells function. Today, she holds the position of Quality Assurance Operations Specialist in the Cell and Gene Therapy department at Lonza Singapore.

It has great potential to treat, prevent or even cure diseases – and both approaches have shown promise in alleviating underlying causes of genetic diseases and acquired diseases.
Since I
started at Lonza, my career has progressed…
I’ve been able to gain a variety of experience, from hands-on work reviewing manufacturing batch records and logbooks to planning Lot releases and compiling Lot disposition packages.

We’re one of the biggest players in the cell and gene therapy industry. I get to develop my career in a multi-product facility, producing both mammalian and cell therapy products – and I’m looking forward to what we will be able to achieve in the near future.

It has a direct impact on the manufacture of products people’s lives depend on. Every decision that I make in relation to different manufacturing campaigns has to be accurate, and based on defined policies and standard operating procedures from a quality assurance standpoint.
