I joined Lonza because I felt inspired to contribute to its mission. In production we create the ingredients that open up new therapeutics, treatment and prevention. My role involves the initial stages of the fermentation process, nutrient preparation, cell culture, cell separation and harvesting. I strive to be one of the best at what I do, because I know that my work helps to save lives.
What stands out at Lonza is the way people care for each other, and the opportunity you get to work with people from such diverse backgrounds. My team are fun-loving people, full of energy and dedicated to their work and supporting each other. There is a positive team spirit and my colleagues are always happy to support me with my tasks. They are the best team ever.
What excites me about the future is our opportunity to advance production technologies. There will be new challenges to experience which will also take my career forward.
