Herausforderungen der Mobilität
Die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung im Oberwallis schreitet voran und prägt die Region in bislang nie dagewesenem Mass. Entsprechend gefordert sind Kanton, Gemeinden und Unternehmen, um auf dieses rasante Wachstum zu reagieren und passende Rahmenbedingungen zu schaffen. Viele dringende Themen erfordern dabei nachhaltige Lösungen, um der dynamischen Komplexität Rechnung zu tragen. So auch im Bereich der Mobilität, die für den Tourismus- und Industriekanton Wallis eine zentrale Rolle spielt. Im Rahmen des zweiten «Lonza Forums» rücken wir dieses Schlüsselthema in den Fokus: Niklaus Furger (Gemeindepräsident Visp und Präsident Agglomerationskonferenz), Adrian Zumstein (Chef der Dienststelle für Raumentwicklung), Prof. Dr. Andreas Herrmann (Co-Leiter des Instituts für Mobilität an der Universität St. Gallen) und Lonza-Standortleiter Renzo Cicillini diskutieren dabei Herausforderungen und Perspektiven rund um die Mobilität. Zudem bietet der Anlass der interessierten Bevölkerung die Möglichkeit, einen spannenden Einblick in die aktuelle Entwicklung des Standorts zu erhalten. Im Anschluss sind alle Gäste zu einem Apéro eingeladen. Die Teilnahme am Anlass ist kostenlos, aus organisatorischen Gründen ist eine Anmeldung über das nebenstehende Formular erforderlich.
Challenges of Mobility
Economic development in Upper Valais is advancing and shaping the region to an unprecedented degree. Accordingly, the canton, municipalities and companies are challenged to respond to this rapid growth and to create suitable framework conditions. Many urgent issues require sustainable solutions in order to cope with the dynamic complexity. This is also the case in the area of mobility, which plays a central role for the tourism and industrial canton of Valais. . The second "Lonza Forum" will focus on this key issue: Niklaus Furger (Mayor of Visp and President of the Agglomeration Conference), Adrian Zumstein (Head of the Spatial Development Department), Prof. Dr. Andreas Herrmann (Co-Director of the Institute for Mobility at the University of St. Gallen) and Lonza Site Head Renzo Cicillini will discuss the challenges and perspectives surrounding mobility. In addition, the event offers interested members of the public the opportunity to gain an exciting insight into the current development of the site. Afterwards, all guests are invited to an aperitif. Participation in the event is free of charge; for organizational reasons, registration is required via the adjacent form.
