Monika Geiger, Ph.D.

Dr. Monika Geiger is an Associate Director / Senior Group Leader of Formulation Development, based at the Centre of Excellence for Lonza Drug Product Services in Basel. She holds a doctorate in Pharmaceutical Technology from the Friedrich-Alexander Universität Erlangen-Nuremberg and has over 20 years of experience in Formulation and Process development. Her international career has included roles in Formulation and Process Development of recombinant protein therapeutics at Wyeth and Pfizer. For the last eight years Monika has been leading projects for the Drug Product Services division of Lonza across multiple modalities. She is currently delivering a range of early and late-stage drug development projects for Lonza customers, and is passionate about bringing new therapies to patients.
