Concur & Card Application Lead

Location: San Jose, Costa Rica

What you will do:

• Own and enhance SAP Concur Expense and the corporate card program, defining strategy, roadmap, and system configuration.
• Drive automation, standardization, and continuous improvement to improve compliance, efficiency, and user experience.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounts Payable, Procurement, HR, IT, and external vendors to ensure aligned and effective operations.
• Lead system changes and enhancements from requirements gathering through testing, deployment, and post-release support.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, including workflow management, access controls, and issue resolution for complex cases.
• Maintain strong governance of expense policies, financial controls, and compliance with audit and regulatory requirements.
• Champion user adoption through training, communication, and stakeholder engagement while promoting best practices globally.

What we are looking for:

• Degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; transferable experience welcomed.

• Experience managing corporate card programs in a global organization and/or SAP Concur experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of expense management, financial controls, and compliance frameworks.
• Proven ability to drive process improvements, automation, and system enhancements.
• Skilled in stakeholder management with the ability to partner across Finance, IT, and business teams across multiple time zones.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and experience working with financial data and reporting.
• Ability to lead change, support training initiatives, and promote adoption across diverse user groups.
