GMP Documentation Lead, Lonza Netherlands
At her home, in the southern part of the Netherlands, Vicky shares her life with her boyfriend and their little Schnauzer dog. In her role at Lonza, she leads a team of Good Manufacturing Documentational Specialists, in order to ensure that all documents required to be used in a current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) environment are transferred from clients to Lonza Netherlands.

Since I
started at Lonza, my career has progressed…
… step by step. Having only joined Lonza recently, progress has been steady and Lonza has been fully supportive of my career aspirations. My achievements in the GMP field have been acknowledged, and my dream to be able to guide my own team has come true. It is a new challenge for me and I really appreciate the guidance and support I receive from my own manager in how to coach, manage and mentor my team. It is something that is benefiting both my team and myself and helping all of us to grow professionally.

My work

Without the proper cGMP documentation, medicines and treatments cannot be delivered to the patients who desperately need them. It is one of the most essential links in the chain.

When documents get delivered on time, regardless of the challenges we have faced in getting them ready.

Juggling several projects at the same time. There is something new around every corner and there is not a spare minute we cannot use to support a project.
