Senior Automation Engineer, Stein, CH
I work as a Senior Automation Engineer in the Engineering team at Lonza. Since joining the company, I have been able to progress as a vocational trainer and now supervise an apprentice. I have a broad knowledge of all systems in Stein, from IT to Operational Technology.
My responsibilities include overseeing major automation projects at the Stein site. I play an important role in ensuring that all equipment works flawlessly to help in enabling a healthier world.
What I particularly appreciate about my job is the challenge of understanding and optimizing complex systems to ensure that there are no failures or production losses. I am proud to be part of a great team as we support each other and share knowledge.
I am excited about the future prospects of Lonza. The company is investing in the Stein site, which I am sure will offer many new opportunities for my career.
In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, going on motorcycle tours, playing sports, and cooking.
