Job Summary

A Calibration Specialist, Level 2 must be able to safely complete monthly planned maintenance and demand tasks per assign cGMP procedures. This role is designed to ensure instrumentation maintains required specifications and reliability levels. This requires multiple skill sets based on electrical theory, instrumentation knowledge, trouble shooting, failure analysis (RCA), Lonza processes, education, software skills, and prior experience.

This position requires full time presence at our Portsmouth, NH location. *Day Shift hours are 8:00am-4:30 pm Monday-Friday.

What you will do

  • Perform all work safely and in compliance with cGMP procedures

  • Complete routine and on-demand calibration and maintenance tasks

  • Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation to ensure readiness

  • Document tasks using SAP, DMS, QMS, and other software tools

  • Participate in safety and technical training programs

  • Support engineering tasks including CAPAs, deviations, and upgrades

  • Align with site priorities to meet goals and maintain compliance

What we are looking for

  • 5–10 years of experience in Calibration, Metrology, or Instrumentation

  • Strong knowledge of electronics and communication protocols

  • Proficiency in basic computer applications

  • Experience with cGMP documentation and procedure creation

  • Ability to use hand tools and perform mechanical tasks

  • Effective communication and training skills

  • Solid foundation in math, reading, and writing
