We are currently seeking a Master Data Specialist to join our Global Master Data Management Team. This role has been created to support Lonza’s ongoing growth and commitment to flawless data management. The successful candidate will manage Master Data lifecycle requests and collaborate with teams across the Americas, Europe, and Asia, following the Follow-the-Sun principle. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a global function and work closely with a diverse, international team.
Key responsibilities:
Process standard requests for Material and Production & Planning Master Data from all regions in alignment with the Follow-the-Sun principle.
Handle and escalate non-standard or special Material Master Data and Production & Planning requests.
Perform first-level troubleshooting for Master Data issues.
Support the Global Master Data Management Team with tasks such as reporting, data cleansing, simple mass changes, and other assigned duties.
Key requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration or Information Technology.
Proficient experience in Master Data or related fields such as Supply Chain, Operations, Quality and Procurement.
Proficiency in SAP ERP (MM and PP modules) and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Basic understanding of business processes in Supply Chain, Operations, Quality and Procurement.
Additional knowledge of Master Data modules is a plus.
Mandatory fluency in English; experience working in a Shared Service Center is preferred.
