Lonza has an outstanding opportunity to join a world-class team committed to manufacturing excellence and continuous improvement as a Warehouse Operator at our Bend, Oregon location. We are seeking someone who is exceptionally motivated, diligent, and ready to contribute to our ambitious goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read, understand, and demonstrate proficiency on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure quality and compliance in all tasks.
  • Monitor inventory levels of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) materials and replacement parts, ensuring flawless operations.
  • Operate independently on one process train – SDD (Spray Dry Dispersion), Pharmacy, or subset of SDM (Solid Dose Manufacturing), showcasing your expertise.
  • Complete Manufacturing Batch Records (MBR) with precision and accuracy.
  • Be aware of and strictly adhere to all safety precautions and GMP requirements relevant to the task being performed.
  • Actively engage in departmental continuous improvement activities, questioning current practices to actively promote and improve the workspace area.
  • Manage the Inventory Control System to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Complete required Material Management Forms: Receiving Forms, Shipping Forms, Material Disposal Forms, ensuring compliance and accurate documentation.
  • Responsible for Shipping/Receiving and various inventory duties, maintaining a seamless flow of materials.
  • Serve as a Hazardous Waste Manager, ensuring safe and compliant handling of materials.
  • Complete paperwork and notifications required to ship materials to the customer, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Transport materials to appropriate locations, documenting material chain of custody meticulously.
  • Perform other responsibilities as required, contributing to the overall success of the team.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum High School diploma or equivalent experience, demonstrating a solid educational foundation.
  • Some work experience in materials management functions preferred, showcasing your familiarity with industry practices.
  • Some work experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a structured workplace with standard procedures and timelines preferred.
  • Strong reading, writing, and documentation skills, ensuring clear and accurate communication.
  • Promote safety and demand high-quality standards for work being performed, contributing to a culture of excellence.
  • Great teammate with an open and reliable character, demonstrating good interpersonal and communication skills.
