Accounts Payable Clerk

Location – Manchester, UK.

Hybrid Working (2 days in the office, 3 days WFH).

We are currently seeking a Accounts Payable Clerk to join our fantastic team in our Manchester Shared Service Centre. You will be manly responsible for processing all accounts payable transactions including processing of Travel and Expense reports, ensuring all invoices received are processed for payment in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing of high volume of purchase invoices (using OCR default) in a timely manner
• Analyze and minimize unmatched outstanding items and chase through queries.
• Process, reconcile and report on Inter-Company vendors
• Develop effective working relationships with both internal departments and vendors
• Investigate and initiate queries with vendors in a timely manner
• Support other areas of the business as and when required. This could include providing project support to R2R/AR functions

Key Requirements

• Level of accounting experience, GCSE or equivalent in Math’s/ English, or an AAT qualification or equivalent.
• Accounts Payable knowledge is essential
• Strong excel skills – ability to perform Vlook Ups and Pivot Tables.
• Knowledge of SAP would be preferable
• Ability to multi-task and prioritizes work, demonstrate accuracy, pays attention to detail and meet deadlines.
