About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Analytical Scientist to join our R&D team in Nansha, Guangzhou. This role is essential to ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our analytical instrumentation. The work will be related to the develop of our HTE and robotic platform to enable rapid and reliable data-driven decision-making in synthetic chemistry research. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining key analytical equipment and delivering high-quality data analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical instruments including HPLC, UPLC, MS, etc.
- Perform routine calibration, qualification, and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal instrument performance.
- Learn and develop in-silico analytical strategies for impurity prediction and method development.
- Collect, process, and analyze experimental data to support analytical method development for our R&D workflows.
- Summarize analytical results and prepare clear, concise technical reports and presentations.
- Collaborate with chemists, engineers, and automation specialists to align analytical strategies with project goals.
- Maintain accurate records of instrument usage, maintenance activities, and analytical results.
- Support method development and validation as needed.
Qualifications
Required:
- Master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, Process Analytical Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation in a laboratory setting.
- Experience in a synthetic chemistry or pharmaceutical R&D environment.
- Strong knowledge of chromatographic and spectrometric techniques (HPLC, UPLC, MS, etc).
- Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., Empower, MassLynx, ChemStation).
- Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with regulatory standards such as GMP or GLP.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English.
