We are looking for a Deputy Coordinator – Utilities Operations to join our team! If you have experience in facility operations, including heating, cooling, plumbing, and mechanical workshop activities, and enjoy sharing your technical knowledge with others, this could be the perfect role for you.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and oversee utilities operations according to standard procedures.

  • Operate and maintain heating, cooling, and plumbing systems to ensure reliable facility performance.

  • Identify and manage potential hazards to maintain a safe working environment.

  • Conduct routine inspections and adjust system parameters as needed.

  • Identify, correct, and report deviations or malfunctions in utility systems.

  • Recognize alarm signals and take or request corrective actions.

  • Perform on-site troubleshooting and basic mechanical interventions.

  • Follow operational checklists and ensure smooth daily functioning of utilities.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of system performance.

  • Act as an on-the-job trainer, providing technical training and guidance to team members.

  • Support and train new operators in utilities-related tasks, ensuring knowledge transfer and team development.

What You Bring:

  • Experience in utilities operations, facility maintenance, or a related technical field.

  • Knowledge of heating, cooling, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

  • Background in mechanical workshop activities is a plus.

  • Ausbildung (vocational training) as a chemical operator, biotechnologist, or similar is advantageous.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to train and support colleagues.

  • Understanding of safety protocols and process documentation.

  • Passion for mentoring and training colleagues in technical skills.
