In this position you will be selling our development and manufacturing services to the pharmaceutical industry. You will contribute to our success through being there for the customers when they need you and also bring in new customers. In this role you will travel approximately 40% of your time, so it's advantageous to live in close proximity of an airport. This is a remote position available from most of our European locations.
Key responsibilities:
- Build and implement Pharma Services strategic plan for EMEA & APAC regions to grow its presence
- Drive sales growth and new business acquisition in both regions as a result of a strong and detailed understanding of the Pharma Services offering, the sales process and an established industry network
- Proactively manage customer relationships and ensure the successful execution of ongoing projects
- Act as the customer advocate and leverage internal team expertise to resolve problems and follow through on commitments
- Guide new customers from program award through initial stages of program onboarding and handover
- Finding opportunities to introduce new or existing customers to additional services or business units
Key requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent experience in the field of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Pharmaceutical Sciences
- Proven understanding and hands on experience with clinical drug development phases, bioavailability improvement, oral and inhaled drug product formulation development activities, and small molecule GMP/regulatory requirements
- Experience with salesforce is an advantage, but you can also learn this software with us!
- Ability to keep clients engaged throughout long sales cycles by adjusting strategies based on customer feedback and changing market conditions
- Proficient English language skills
