Today, Lonza is a global leader in life sciences operating across five continents. While we work in science, there’s no magic formula to how we do it. Our greatest scientific solution is talented people working together, devising ideas that help businesses to help people. In exchange, we let our people own their careers. Their ideas, big and small, genuinely improve the world. And that’s the kind of work we want to be part of.

Global Head of Identity and Directory Solutions will coordinate and lead a critical team that ensures the secure, reliable, and compliant implementation and operation of the organization’s IAM ecosystem. This role is accountable for overseeing implementation of various IAM related projects, incident response, problem management, routine operational tasks, and patching across a diverse range of IAM services—including SailPoint, Active Directory, Entra ID, certificate management, and Privileged Access Management (PAM).

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in IAM frameworks, backed by a “hands on” track record, in addition a strong background in security operations, and the leadership capability to steer the team through complex technical challenges while maintaining service excellence and supporting business agility.

What you will get

  • An inclusive and ethical workplace

  • Compensation programs that recognize high performance

Governance, Operations, and Architecture

  • Coordinate all aspects of IAM governance, risk, and compliance, ensuring alignment to internal policies and regulatory frameworks like GDPR and ISO 27001. You'll manage a scalable, resilient IAM infrastructure that includes both cloud and on-premise components. Additionally, you'll provide direction on critical technologies such as Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Authentication & Federation platforms (e.g., Azure AD, SAML, OpenID Connect).

Team and Stakeholder Management

  • Lead and mentor a global IAM team across engineering, operations, and governance functions. You'll foster collaboration with key collaborators, including HR, IT, and Compliance, and represent IAM in critical architecture and security committees.
