Join our team at Lonza in Costa Rica as an Accounts Payable Analyst! This position involves managing all accounts payable transactions, like posting invoices and balancing statements, along with addressing collaborator inquiries via email, phone, and ServiceNow. The Analyst will be responsible for managing open AP items, investigating, approving, and resolving them in collaboration with business partners. Additionally, the position involves prioritizing daily tasks to avoid blocking issues and address urgent inquiries promptly.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage all tasks related to the Accounts Payable process, including reviewing resolved invoices pending posting and investigating potential exceptions based on specific procedures.

  • Review and address unpaid invoices to prevent delays, report payment-related problems, handle vendor inquiries efficiently, and alert the AP Supervisor or Manager when needed.

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal departments and vendors, understanding the urgency and impact of issues on both parties.

  • Collaborate with auditors, accountants, and management to provide necessary information regarding departmental activities and specific Accounts Payable requests.

Key requirements:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Accounts Payable processes.

  • SAP/Oracle and Invoice Track Experience preferred.

  • AP troubleshooting, invoices processing and end to end process experience.

  • AP experience in US required and Mexico/Canada is preferred.

  • Proficiency in English required.
