Lonza AG in Greenwood, SC seeks a Customer Solutions Representative II to support customer relationships and meet growth targets for the CHI Business Unit.

Key responsibilities:

  • Daily interaction with assigned accounts and internal sales teams to manage product orders, supply, and production inquiries.
  • Establish and grow strong customer relationships within an assigned group of accounts.
  • Achieve annual sales objectives by managing assigned accounts and growing revenue through upselling.
  • Track and analyze account/sales data to identify growth opportunities; partner with customers and sales teams to deliver results.
  • Regularly forecast and track key account metrics, prepare, and analyze account status reports for sales teams and leadership.
  • Drive the development of new custom materials and manage customer specifications processes.
  • Process customer purchase orders and manage complaints, including root cause analysis and corrective action follow-up.
  • Act as Sales Manager when needed to backfill the role.
  • Visit customers and attend sales meetings (10% annual travel).

Key requirements:

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Sales, or a related Customer Service field required.
  • 5-10 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Product Management, or Customer Service.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Sales Force (SFDC), Outlook, and SAP.
  • Strong follow-up, communication, flexibility, and diplomacy skills.
  • Ability to direct, persuade, and influence others while working with minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with various organizational levels, including Operations, Sales, Product Development, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Leadership.
