This role is critical to ensure financial performance of the Visp Supply Chain organization. They work with the rest of the Visp SCM team to ensure the organization impacts the right financial leavers. The incumbent is accountable for SCM related financial reporting within the SCM organization, Visp and corporate. This role plays a key role in management of operating working capital and improvement of all financial related metrics for Visp SCM. The person will be responsible for establishing the right reporting, governance structure and performance management frame for SCM finance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Drives SCM financial governance within the SCM team and other teams involved (eg. Corporate)

  • Drives the design and implementation of financial dimension of Visp Supply Chain road map.

  • Works closely with the SCM Program Management Office and Transformation team to ensure financial robustness of SCM projects.

  • Works with relevant functions, including SCM operational excellence, to ensure robust financial assessment of SCM performance frame and associated continuous improvement initiatives

  • Generates for all financial reporting requirement by team, site and corporate.

  • In particular, drives the financial element of S&OP and the financial reviews coordinated into the Supply Chain Orchestration governance frame

  • Holds the business responsible for areas of financial performance, particularly, but not only, on those related to operating working capital.

  • Chips in to overall governance structure for Supply Chain Orchestrating frame for all financial related topics.

Key requirements:

To excel in this role and chip in to our high-reaching goals, you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Business, SCM, Procurement, or similar fields.
  • Confirmed experience in SCM, Materials Planning/Scheduling, and/or Purchasing as well as Finance.
  • Proficient knowledge of SAP MM, Power BI, and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong leadership and capability to drive performance without direct reporting lines in place.
  • Collaboration approach to develop positive relationships with collaborators
  • Comprehensive and proven Change Management capabilities
  • Ability to oversee and manage complex process and system landscapes considering pharmaceutical and bio-pharmaceutical requirements
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience with managing large international project teams, and with direct and indirect team structures
  • Proven expertise in supply chain finance
  • Ability to teamwork, staying customer and supplier focused
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in English is required, with additional German preferred.
