What you’ll do
Coordinate cross-functional laboratory scheduling and ensure smooth delivery of R&D operations across the Protein and Process Analytics (PPA) Centre of Excellence.
Manage laboratory consumables, including Vendor Managed Inventory systems, SAP orders, and coordination of deliveries and quotes.
Oversee and arrange shipping requests and support capital expenditure (CAPEX) processes, including drafting eCARs, URS development, and equipment coordination.
Represent the team in site operational forums such as the Biosafety Council.
Identify and resolve operational challenges proactively, delivering process improvements and efficiencies across R&D laboratories.
Collaborate with laboratory administration teams in Slough and Cambridge to share best practices and implement improvements.
Build and maintain communication channels to ensure seamless information flow between R&D, Site Laboratory Services, Procurement, EHS, and Engineering.
What we’re looking for
Strong organizational and administrative skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Clear and concise communicator with proven ability to build strong working relationships across teams.
Attention to detail and forward-thinking mindset to identify and address issues before they escalate.
Experience in laboratory operations, technical administration, or R&D support within a scientific environment.
BSc in Biochemistry or a related scientific field (or equivalent experience).
Business-fluent English language skills.
