We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Workday Security and Reporting Analyst to join our Digital HR team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the configuration of robust Workday security access controls while delivering accurate, insightful reports across the Workday HCM platform. This role balances the design and governance of security policies with the development of dashboards, custom reports, and data analytics!
Key Responsibilities:
Security Administration: Configure and maintain Workday security roles, security groups, domain policies, and business process security.
Conduct regular access reviews, audits, and segregation-of-duties assessments.
Investigate and remediate security incidents; monitor logs for unauthorized activity.
Data Management: Manage data integrity by conducting regular audits and troubleshooting data discrepancies in the Workday system.
Perform data imports and exports, ensuring compliance with data governance standards.
Reporting & Analytics: Design and build Workday reports, calculated fields, dashboards, and scorecards.
Develop data extracts using EIB, Studio, or delivered integrations for downstream analytics.
Validate data integrity and ensure compliance with reporting standards.
System Support & Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing support to end-users, including troubleshooting issues, resolving system-related problems, and advancing complex issues to senior team members when necessary.
Process Improvement: Collaborate with Process Excellence and Continuous Improvement Managers to find opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements within Workday.
Assist in streamlining workflows and optimizing system configurations.
Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct system testing for new configurations, updates, and releases.
Ensure that any changes meet business requirements and quality standards before implementation.
User Training & Documentation: Develop user documentation, training materials, and help guides.
Train end-users on system functionality and updates to ensure effective system adoption.
Workday Releases & Updates: Stay up to date with Workday’s new features, releases, and updates.
Participate in the planning and implementation of updates, ensuring system stability and minimal disruption to business operations.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with HR, IT, Finance, and other teams to ensure seamless integration between Workday HCM and other systems.
Key Requirements:
Experience with Workday configuration, HR data integrations and knowledge of integration tools.
Familiarity with Workday HCM modules such as Core HR, Talent Management, Recruiting, Compensation, Security, or Integrations
Workday HCM Certification and/or Lean Six Sigma is a plus.
Experience in data analysis and crafting reports/dashboards in Workday.
Experience with HR system security technology and related concepts.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies or project management tools.
