Today, Lonza is a global leader in life sciences operating across three continents. While we work in science, there’s no magic formula to how we do it. Our greatest scientific solution is talented people working together, devising ideas that help businesses to help people. In exchange, we let our people own their careers. Their ideas, big and small, genuinely improve the world. And that’s the kind of work we want to be part of.
As a Project Management Office (PMO) intern on our SAP S/4HANA implementation, you’ll take ownership of the coordination and admin tasks that keep the program run efficiently: handling documentation, tracking milestones, maintaining risk logs, coordinating meetings, and supporting communication across teams. It’s a hands-on role that offers real insight into large-scale SAP projects, and will be a valuable learning opportunity, as you contribute directly to the program success.

- Maintain core project documentation, including meeting minutes, action items, and status updates.
- Monitor timelines, milestones, and deliverables across workstreams using PMO tools.
- Support risk and issue management by updating logs and coordinating follow-ups.
- Assist in preparing presentation materials for governance and steering meetings.
- Compile inputs from workstream leads for consolidated reporting.
- Coordinate meeting schedules, logistics, and stakeholder communications.
- Support test management with progress monitoring and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with project governance standards and documentation protocols.
- Maintain consistency in the use of project templates, tools, and methodologies.
- Provide general coordination and support as directed by the PMO Lead.
Key requirements:
- Recently completed or in final stages of a university degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive, dependable, and able to work independently in a structured environment.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and follow through reliably.
- Proficient in English; additional languages are a plus depending on the project location.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- General understanding of project management principles or methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile) is desirable.
- Curiosity about enterprise systems, digital transformation, or SAP-related projects.
- Available for an up to a full-time internship for the agreed project duration.
