In Visp, the Head PD/MSAT Drug Linker Toxin manages the Process Development Chemists and MSAT team. They work on Pipeline development and portfolio optimization of Drug Linker Toxin Products, aligning with production facilities and collaborating with ADS Portfolio Optimization and Pipeline Development.
Lead development of roadmap and strategy to improve team's technical capabilities. Provide scientific leadership and support commercial initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Direct, coordinate, complete, control and perform the Drug Linker Toxin Process Development and MSAT team in line with agreed objectives and commitments
Support the responsible Operations group Head in alignment with the Lab team and Lab production managers with managing and allocation of required personnel resources
Guide the Development Scientist and MSAT team for the efficient and robust transfer of Drug Linker Toxin production processes to the supported GMP manufacturing facilities
Ensure and support the development and/or implementation of innovative and new technologies to increase capabilities and efficiency at the Drug Linker Toxin operations group
Serve as Lonza’s technical expert for Drug Linker Toxin Projects, crafting external content to boost scientific reputation
Coordinate and prioritize the sharing of standard methodologies in Drug Linker Toxin Projects and Containment technology
Guide the Drug Linker Toxin Process Development chemist and MSAT team on HR aspects and support scientific growth of area experts.
Support the Head of Drug Linker Organization in assigned initiatives and duties
Key Requirements
Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or Chemistry, PhD or equivalent experience in organic chemistry preferred
Proven experience in leading complex projects in a matrix organization within a Clinical supply Development and Manufacturing operation
Good knowledge in the Drug Linker Toxin technology and understanding for safe work execution in containment assets
People management experience and motivation to develop talents further
Demonstrated experience managing project budgets and delivering against performance targets
Proficient in English; German proficiency is a strong asset
