What you’ll do:
Plan and execute laboratory studies in the field of surfactant characterization and trace analysis / structure elucidation
Develop and establish analytical methods and technologies, evaluate, report and present results
Support other functions in Forensic Chemistry (e.g. protein characterization, subvisible and visible particle characterization, extractables / leachables studies)
Ensure accurate maintenance of equipment, adhere to safety and health regulations, and follow lab and safety instructions and all relevant regulations
Participate and contribute to innovation, technical strategy projects and scientific publications
Perform other duties as assigned (e.g. supervise, train and mentor junior lab scientists, interns and students, carry out scientific research projects, and other tasks as required)
What we’re looking for:
A degree in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field OR education as a laboratory scientist / training on the job as analytical lab technician
Confirmed (>2 years) experience as a research or technical assistant / laboratory scientist in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry with focus on analytics
Proven knowledge in trace analytical techniques, e.g. HPLC-ELSD/CAD/UV/FLD/MS
Good skills in reporting, interpretation and documentation of scientific results
Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment with a proactive mentality
Willingness to learn and carry out new and complex tasks
Good knowledge of written and spoken English
