The Analytical Chemist is working as a member of a research unit or project team and is a Scientist with scientific or technical area of expertise in chemistry or chemical engineering. Contributes to the development, implementation of procedures and processes in the field of chemical synthesis in relation to technology implementation.

What you`ll do:

  • Plans experimental lab work (scheduling, design, safety measures, coordination with associated services).
  • Collects, summarizes, analyses data to prepare reports and makes presentations, as appropriate, to disseminate best practice throughout the function.
  • Contributes to scientific field or technique by solving scientific problems within R&D. Might be responsible to manage a lab or platform (Organization, Equipment, Safety).
  • Demonstrate skills as Scientific Lead. Responsible for analytical equipment and workflows within the R&D group.
  • Executes experimental lab work and analytical experiments in the desired quality, regulatory and safety standards.
  • Represents the team in group and project team meetings.
  • Disseminates good quality information throughout the team.
  • Might manage, develop and coach 1-2 lab technicians
  • Provides on-the-job training and support to new team members.
  • Evaluation and Implementation of trends and innovations in the area of expertise.

What we`re looking for:

  • MS or BS Degree or equivalent. Preferred area of study:  Organic Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Analytical Chemistry, PAT etc.. In case of BS: At least 3-5 years in own discipline.
  • Good understanding of how the team integrates with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area.
  • Good experience in analytical techniques (especially UPLC, GC, NMR & PAT) required. Knowledge in computer & data science advantageous. MS or BS Degree or equivalent
  • Sound problem solving skills in the field of own discipline, developed communication skills to exchange complex information; team player; written and oral communication in English and local language.
  • Entrepreneurial, reliable, flexible, convincing, can handle uncertainty, able to withstand stress, accurate, customer focus
