As a Scientist Bioassay in our Bio-Analytics team in Basel, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality analytical testing under cGMP standards. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, regulated environment and is passionate about scientific excellence and continuous improvement.

What you’ll do:
Independently execute potency assays (e.g., ELISA, SPR, CBA, enzyme assays) for method validation and sample testing
Document assay performance in compliance with cGMP and GDP standards
Ensure availability of reagents required to perform assays (inventory and expiry) and be pro-active in case re-supply is needed
Support investigations and troubleshooting of methods and lab equipment
Maintain a clean and audit-ready lab space, adhering to 6S and EHS principles
Act as Instrument Responsible Person (IRP) for lab equipment maintenance
Contribute to lab optimization initiatives and train peers on methods and instruments
What we’re looking for:
Apprenticeship or BSc in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or Microbiology
0–4 years of experience in a bioanalytical or GMP-regulated lab environment
Familiarity with analytical software (e.g., LIMS, ELN, SoftMax Pro, PLA) is a plus
Strong attention to detail and dedication to quality and compliance
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
Business-fluent English
A proactive mentality with a willingness to learn and contribute to continuous improvement
