What You’ll Do

The Marketing Manager will be a key member of the marketing team in the Capsule & Health Ingredients (CHI) division. The role will be instrumental in implementing product & services marketing strategy and efforts. Success hinges on creating awareness and aligning CHI portfolio with business strategies to show value to customers. The incumbent will work closely with the whole commercial team to generate lead and profitable business opportunities in order to support their annual financial targets. This position will support trade shows engagement, customer events, advertising, public relations, market intelligence, marketing automation systems including SFDC/Marketo, customer and sales support under the overall direction of the Head of Regional Marketing.

Market and Competitive Intelligence

  • Develop strong relationships with key customer partners to drive business and innovate demand generation.

  • Partnering with team members, developing and building up Japan marketing strategy and marketing plan and ensuring its execution to drive business growth (or P&L) in Japan.

  • Japan competitor monitoring and analysis by working together with Global BI team, and act as a catalyst to pricing

Outbound and Inbound Marketing

  • Drive marketing campaigns and activities and customer activation initiatives in Japan & South Korea as requested. Establish and implement marketing campaigns based on external and internal factors for successful regional implementation. Ensure global and regional alignment with the CHI brands and a harmonized approach to all market segments.

  • Manages communication of CHI’s value proposition and products to customers, industry, and collaborators through digital and experiential marketing.

  • Support the tactical mix of inbound and outbound, physical and digital tactics for campaign execution such as events, webinars, Subject Matter Expert content, thought leadership, content marketing etc) to reach individual program goals and measurement criteria per campaign

  • Review market performance by tracking metrics and reporting outcomes relative to objectives

  • Lead all promotional efforts through established and new Go to Market strategies according to CHI key initiatives

  • Creation and take ownership of marketing content by working together with Global SGRM as well as Local Japan team. Ow

  • Coordinate the implementation of the media/PR strategy for the regions, in line with APAC Marketing strategy and media plan

  • Evaluating the efficiency of marketing campaigns and communicating results to the Sales & Marketing team

Other Responsibilities

  • Support APAC Marketing Head for some APAC project.

  • Lead and coordinate all product training, tool training (SFDC, Mindtickle and etc) to Local Japan team.

  • Communicate optimally with other departments within the organization and ensure understanding and alignment to marketing plans

  • Work cross-functionally with Sales & Marketing colleagues around the world

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelors/ Masters degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years of Marketing experience in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and food industries

  • Proficient in English and Japanese to connect with stakeholders and external customers

  • Implementation of marketing campaigns through collaboration with cross-departmental departments within the company.

  • Experience in promoting and supporting marketing campaigns and activities
