We are looking for a dedicated Associate Director, Site Controller for our Bornem location. Key responsibilities:

  • Act as a key strategic business partner to Department Heads and the Site Head to provide transparency and insight for decision-making.
  • Support the EMEA Ops Head of Finance during Month-End close, annual budgeting, Outlook processes, worker council, and other ad hoc requests.
  • Serve as the primary interface to the Shared Service Center, ensuring compliance with internal controls and managing audit-related topics within your area of responsibility.
  • Lead, manage, and ensure the successful delivery of key improvement projects, driving impact across functions.
  • Perform in-depth monthly operational variances analysis and proactively communicate findings.
  • Prepare and present the Monthly Reporting Pack, providing clear narrative and recommendations.
  • Take full ownership in understanding and resolving the root causes of process order settlements, WBS Element settlements & Material settlements in SAP, ensuring follow-up on any corrections.
  • Provide high-level financial support and mentorship for operational projects, from argument development and financial indicators to capitalization.
  • Deliver ad-hoc strategic support to the EMEA Region and Global Ops Finance.

Key requirements:

  • Proven understanding and experience in resolving issues resulting from process order settlements, WBS Element settlements & Material settlements in SAP.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, SAP CO/FI, SAP Business Warehouse, SAC, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated track record in reporting accuracy and professional integrity.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret and explain financial information and projections.
  • Comfortable with group presentations.
  • Native Dutch speaking or equivalent proficiency.
