Key responsibilities:
- Maintain procurement data in SAP, including PIR, SL, lead-times, and other MRP relevant settings.
- Monitor supplier performance and drive improvements for timely delivery, quality conformance, and compliance issues.
- Address Level 2 Vendor issues by speeding up delivery dates, adjusting delivery dates as needed, resolving price and payment discrepancies, and handling vendor returns.
- Conduct regular open order review meetings with suppliers to ensure timely updates and material availability.
- Handle AP inquiries related to invoices and other payment issues.
- Support internal collaborators in onboarding and approving new raw materials and suppliers.
- Assist category managers or strategic buyers in negotiating low-value contracts with suppliers.
- Collaborate with schedulers to keep material plans responsive to changing requirements.
- Develop and maintain safety stock and inventory plans to meet production goals.
- Track, report, and facilitate timely material availability, including testing and release for production.
Key requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience in Supply Chain, with a focus on procurement.
- Proficient in English.
- Proven skills in purchasing, inventory, and distribution management.
- Strong knowledge of Material Requirements Planning and SAP.
- Ability to handle administrative procedures related to purchase orders and commercial transactions.
- Analytical skills to make timely and accurate decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain inclusive relationships with internal teams and external suppliers.
