Key responsibilities:
• Organize and oversee IT vendors and IT contractors while on site at Lonza SuzhouCap.
• Documentation including but not limited to – IT Standard Operating Procedures, purchase orders, invoices, packing slips, and service reports
• Physical cleanup/tidying/organization/labeling of IT areas and assets
• Assisting with IT projects as needed, including install and replenishment of:
Switches/Routers
Servers
Storage
Phone(s)
AP(s)
• Assisting with daily Operation support, coordination of OSS resources
• Scheduling and performing Preventative Maintenance
• Assisting with Technical Escalations from onsite technicians
• Calling on software or hardware service and replacement
• Testing, deployment, and replenishment of printer fleet
• Windows Update, Security updates, and remediation in collaboration with global teams
Key requirements:
• High school diploma/GED required
• +5 years’ experience in IT related fields
• Strong understanding of IT support and development
• Needs to be familiar working with offshore support teams
• Experience and familiarity with IT equipment (laptops, servers, switches, etc)
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Capable of creating site leadership presentations
• Able to multitask and prioritize
• Detail oriented but with focus on big picture
• Possibility to travel, including international, to other sites up to 15%
• Able to collaborate with global teams in different time zones.
• Being flexible and understanding this isn’t an 8 to 5 job due to time zones, collaboration with different teams across the globe and requirement for possible weekend work
