Process Development Intern

Responsibilities:

  • Support the successful development and execution of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) processes.

  • Contribute scientific or engineering expertise toward the design and development of new process ideas.

  • Maintain accurate, detailed records, experimental data, and protocols, adhering to Lonza’s best documentation practices.

  • Prepare data summaries and data reports and collaborate with Lead Scientists to communicate and summarize results for internal and external meetings, written reports, and presentations.

  • Perform common laboratory maintenance and maintain stock of lab supplies and reagents to support ongoing programs.

  • Gain understanding and align with all relevant safety policies, rules, and regulations.

  • Support projects within your expertise and experience, while developing and improving new skills and knowledge to successfully support assigned projects.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with cell culture and aseptic technique.

  • Proficiency in using micropipettes.

  • Currently pursuing a degree in the following: Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering (with a focus on biology), Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
