As the Head of ERP at Lonza AG, you will play a crucial role in crafting the future of our global ERP landscape. You will be at the forefront of driving technological advancements and ensuring perfect execution of our ERP projects. Key responsibilities:

• Lead the global SAP ERP Team, coordinating departmental finances, including budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring operational efficiency.
• Discuss IT needs and prioritize the implementation of ERP solutions with Business Unit IT officers.
• Anticipate local and global trends, contributing to strategic plans and implementing IT objectives aligned with company growth.
• Advise internal collaborators on strategic systems conversions and integrations, supporting business goals and objectives.
• Coordinate the development, design, and implementation of new ERP applications and changes to existing systems across the organization.
• Providing strategic leadership for key ERP applications, coordinating the planning, execution, and support of SAP ERP projects.
• Lead all aspects of the implementation and rollout of ERP modules and upgrades, coordinating continuous improvement programs.
• Ensure delivery of support, improvements, and optimization projects for the existing global user base..
• Lead project teams and negotiate delivery scope, schedule, budget, and service levels with collaborators.
• Monitor and continuously improve the performance of the assigned teams.

Key requirements:

• Master’s degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent experience required; a degree in Business Administration preferred.
• IT Solution Consultant certification from SAP or Microsoft required; Project Management certification from IPMA or Prince preferred.
• Demonstrated ability in IT and/or Business Services and leadership positions.
• Strong general IT and ERP technical background, with in-depth understanding of ERP connected systems.
• Proven track record in leading IT technical/application services in large or medium-size complex organizations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with collaborators at all levels.
• Strategic approach with a track record of successfully implementing IT strategies at an enterprise level.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a cross-functional environment and improve operational efficiency, service delivery, and information management.
