Lonza AG seeks a Reliability Engineer to maintain equipment and processes to high standards.
Key responsibilities:
Reliability Engineering & Analysis:
Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends, failure patterns, and opportunities for reliability improvements.
Apply reliability engineering tools like FMEA, RCA, and RCM to enhance pharmaceutical production equipment reliability.
Perform failure analysis to identify root causes of equipment failures and develop corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
Maintenance Optimization & Continuous Improvement:
Support the development of optimized maintenance strategies and practices to increase equipment uptime, reduce maintenance costs, and improve overall system efficiency.
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives based on data-driven insights, industry standard methodologies, and reliability engineering principles.
Collaborate with the operations team to minimize equipment downtime and improve manufacturing processes.
Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure all reliability engineering activities align with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), FDA regulations, and other applicable industry standards.
Maintain detailed records of reliability-related activities, including work orders, failure analysis reports, and corrective actions.
Assist in preparing for internal and external audits by ensuring accurate documentation of reliability processes and outcomes.
Key requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in mechanical, electrical, or engineering-related field.
5+ years of relevant experience.
Proven ability to engage others effectively in change processes.
Strong collaboration skills as an active member of cross-functional teams.
Ability to make accurate and timely decisions using knowledge of the business area.
