This role is integral to our mission, helping us maintain our world-class standards in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) practices within our manufacturing operations. Key responsibilities:

  • Work alongside site employees and contractors to understand and achieve the objectives of the site EHS program.
  • Develop projects and lead teams to achieve improvements in site EHS performance.
  • Participate in and lead EHS risk assessments for new operations, equipment, and process changes. Efficiently implement solutions to resolve all EHS concerns.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop a fully compliant PSM program.
  • Develop comprehensive site EHS programs to meet regulatory compliance, prevent injuries, and protect the environment.
  • Collect and maintain data and records for EHS compliance and reporting.
  • Conduct and coordinate EHS inspections and audits, including internal inspections, corporate, regulatory, and customer audits.
  • Prepare and deliver EHS training and education to employees and contractors working at the site.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Travel < 10% to attend regional safety meetings.

Key requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 5 years of Environmental, Health, and Safety experience preferred.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Professional Certifications in a related field are preferred.
  • Proven track record of leading strong safety and risk reduction programs as measured by industry reporting standards and Safety/Environmental compliance responsibilities.
  • Prior development and implementation of process risk assessment programs is required.
  • Experience within a cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) environment is desired.
