Associate Director Business FP&A is responsible for driving division-wide financial reporting and planning activities (e.g., Target, BSR), delivering business insights and evaluating divisional risk and opportunities. They are also actively involved in driving financial analysis that facilitate effective business steering and value creation. The role also involves support of Divisional and Group management and implies active collaboration across the business within and outside Finance.
Key responsibilities:
Support planning and analysis processes such as long-term planning (BSR), annual budget, outlooks and monthly closing
Analyse sales, expense and business/operations performance and work closely with other functions and support plans to collect opportunities and mitigate risks
Support Divisional Controllers in analysis, reporting and decision support
Support improvement in execution and other initiatives across FP&A
Monitor business performance indicators, analyze variations to identify root causes and drivers, anticipate potential risks and propose mitigating actions/ plans
Proactively work on improvements of reporting and planning processes incl. by driving adoption of digital tools
Effectively communicate and translate to a wide range of collaborators at all levels of experience
Key requirements:
Strong understanding of corporate finance fundamentals, financial impact analysis and strategic financial planning processes.
Strong analytical skills and structured thinking, allowing flawless execution of complex analyses under tight deadlines
Ability to interpret financial information, distill key drivers/trends from large data sets
Ability to communicate complex financial messages in a coherent way and craft narrative for senior internal and external collaborators
