We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Associate Director, Product Management Hard Empty Capsule to lead all aspects of the development and execution of our product lines globally. In this role you will report to the Category Product Management Leader and be part of the strategy growth and revenue management team at CHI.  You will be responsible for the overall success of the product line, including value messaging, technical content, and financial performance.  You will lead a cross-functional team of professionals to develop the short and long-term strategic goals for the product in line with Lonza’s goals, and would be responsible to communicate and align these strategies with the leadership team.

This role could be based in France (remote) or Belgium (remote) !

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement product strategies for new product lines and support the entire life cycle of product lines from inception to retirement

  • Deep understanding of the competitive landscape and market dynamics in the innovation space

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally, including customers and key opinion leaders

  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and materials for new product lines

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the technical aspects of the products, including clinical trials, regulatory requirements, and manufacturing processes

  • Supervise financial performance of new product lines, including revenue, profitability, and market share.

  • Work with the R&D team to identify new product opportunities and lead product development efforts from concept to commercialization

  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies and tactics that drive growth and market share for new product lines

  • Prioritize innovation projects and line extensions and make relevant business cases for them

  • Seek new partnerships that can better expose and sell CHI's innovation portfolio

Main requirements:

  • Bachelors in Pharma, Chemistry, Nutrition, Innovation or related fields. Masters/MBA preferred (Commercial, Finance,..)

  • English proficient

  • Product management experience, P&L management, Strategic Business Planning, Product Development

  • Marketing experience an asset

  • Ability to build and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the company's goals and customer needs

  • Deep understanding of the market and the customers' needs, behaviors, and preferences

  • Knowledgeable about the product development process, from ideation to launch, and have experience working with cross-functional teams

  • Effective communicator and collaborator, ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, including engineers, designers, sales, and
    marketing teams

  • Ability to use data to inform product decisions and prioritize product features and improvements

  • Proven leadership and project management skills, including the ability to motivate, influence at all levels of the organization,

  • Ability to travel (<10%)
