Key responsibilities:
Responsible for the timely, quality- and cost-optimized manufacture of assigned products, in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines concerning safety, quality, regulatory requirements, hygiene, and environmental protection.
Complete the operational batch record review (manufacturing records, cleaning records in MES / DeltaV) following internal work instructions.
Drive production campaigns in line with cGMP guidelines, ensuring batch execution, evaluating test results, resolving issues, troubleshooting production equipment, and providing solution proposals.
Continuously find opportunities for improvement in processes, equipment, and procedures, in collaboration with various project teams from Process Development, MSAT, etc., to operate processes and equipment efficiently and economically.
Support the operations manager (production manager, plant team leader) and the head of production staff in training and planning tasks.
Represent the production department during customer audits and visits.
Key requirements:
Master's Degree in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related Life Science subject. Equivalent experience will also be considered for candidates with a Bachelor's Degree.
Experience in downstream processing (DSP) within biotechnology production, ideally within a CDMO environment.
Highly organized individual with project ownership who can keep track of timelines and work to ensure the project stays on track
Solid understanding of Bioconjugates and MES/DeltaV experience is a big asset
