The Project Manager role at Lonza is primarily focused on servicing the needs of clients in the delivery of cell culture media products. This role is pivotal to ensuring customer expectations are met, and delivered according to the expected quality, timelines and cost. Program Management (PM) is a service focused team, dedicated to the execution of customer projects delivering both new and existing Bioscience products.
Responsibilities
- Be the interface between the Customer and Lonza to ensure execution and delivery according to expectations.
- Understand the Customer's needs and represent their interests by acting as their advocate on-site.
- Serve as the primary internal contact for questions or issues regarding contractual obligations.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of all agreements (e.g. Development, Commercial, Quality).
- Operate according to PM training profile assigned processes and standard work to effectively manage projects.
- Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the life cycle of the customer project.
- Provide timely demand signals through IBP forecasting as per requirements of the product type/customer
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Life Sciences, Technical or Business.
- Collaborates with external customers and internal partners, including commercial, quality and operations.
- Strong relationship-building skills with a customer-first attitude.
- Capable of working independently and managing customer-facing responsibilities, while also collaborating effectively with internal partners.
- Be comfortable in managing information across a wide array of business systems (e.g. ERP, SFDC, Trackwise, DMS, Planview, SharePoint).
- Working proficiency in English and French
