Perform all duties to ensure the weekly and monthly Supply Planning processes are completed to support the planning processes for the assigned assets.
Ensure effective collaboration with all relevant functions, especially with asset heads & asset teams of assigned responsibility.

As applicable and appropriate also support integrated site and/or network integrated planning processes. Responsible for the creation, execution and maintenance of the Supply Plans including the creation of the Master Production Schedule (“string of pearls”) and medium term capacity loading outlooks.

Develop proactive strategies (scenario planning with relevant collaborators) to anticipate and mitigate issues and risks with respect to supply planning

Responsible to report and own plans to improve the supply plan accuracy and outlook.

Develop (or work with Inventory Manager) to maintain inventory targets by categories and manage inventory of new and phase-out parts. Facilitate the reduction of excess inventory.

As applicable accountable for assigned growth projects and to ensure operational readiness of Supply Chain setup

Accountable to define, coordinate, and deliver the Supply Chain (SC) activities needed to support the on time in full delivery.

As applicable line manager responsibilities for a group of SC personal (e.g. schedulers).

Key responsibilities:

  • Complete the weekly and monthly supply planning cycles by crafting and updating supply plans and identifying key supply decisions.
  • Incorporate input from all relevant collaborators into supply plan
  • Ensure and implement control in managing raw materials and finished goods inventory to prevent losses and/or scrap.
  • Prepare supply planning input into monthly S&OP cycle and annual budget cycle
  • Develop and uphold supply-related critical metrics to guide supply planning progress efforts
  • Coordinate with all relevant partners and functions to ensure supply plan reflects a unified outlook on future supply plans and actions
  • Ensure supply plans are inputted and maintained in relevant supply systems, as e.g. OMP, SAP IBP, SAP ECC, etc.
  • Ensure all supply related parameters and master data in relevant planning systems are maintained.
  • Ensure Supply Plans are used to drive related material, labor and asset capacity plans
  • Liaise with cross platform planning to have visibility of supply for dependent demands delivered to or by other technologies or sites in the network
  • Ensure a SC operational readiness plan in conjunction with the Operational Readiness Planner, Procurement (direct and indirect) and Logistics teams
  • Ensure SC planning, procurement, plant and site logistics providing clarity on the 3-5 year material requirements, type of material and BDS carriers, and number of required pallet spaces
  • Maintain all supply related parameters and master data in relevant planning systems

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience with extensive years of proven experience in end-to-end Supply Chain, solid knowledge in APICS CPIM professional standards is an advantage.
  • Strong SAP background with skills in financial, scheduling and materials planning is a must (Planview background an additional benefit)
  • Very strong leadership skills with a shown ability to empower and develop teams not only in a traditional hierarchical organizational structure and but also enable teams in a matrix structure
  • Demonstrates the courage and integrity to engage in difficult conversations with internal teams and management when needed, encouraging transparency, growth, and collaboration
  • Ability to build a highly collaborative and inclusive environment vital for a team to be effective
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to present ideas in a clear and concise manner
  • Change leadership skills
  • Proficient in English and German (spoken and written)
