A new production plant in the field of biotechnological production is being built at the Visp site. For this project and the subsequent routine production, we are looking for a motivated and resilient individual to join us as a vaccine production operator.

Your tasks during the project phase:

  • Support the project team in defining and setting up processes in the field of innovative vaccine production.
  • Collaborate on the qualification and validation of new production areas and processes.

Your tasks in routine production:

  • Adhere to relevant SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and regulations (e.g., hygiene concept, safety regulations)
  • Independently operate the production plant and equipment entrusted to you, including their preparation, operation, and post-processing in accordance with SOP
  • Perform microbiological environmental monitoring, in-process controls (IPC), and sample taking
  • Monitor production processes, detect and report potential issues, and actively participate in continuous improvement processes
  • Ensure and implement safety measures and behaviors
  • Conduct GMP-compliant work and timely documentation of activities (e.g., computer systems (MES) or log books)
  • Handle, clean, store, and inspect equipment

Your profile:

  • Ideally, you have completed an apprenticeship in the pharmaceutical, chemical, or biotechnological field and/or have several years of experience in pharmaceutical production. Alternatively, career changers with a relevant apprenticeship or university degree are also welcome
  • Experience in plant operation and in the GMP area/cleanroom is an advantage
  • Safety awareness
  • Fluent in German and/or English
  • Willingness to work shifts (4 shifts)
  • Ability to work in a team, reliability, and a high degree of personal responsibility
  • Flexibility
