Plant Engineer (m/f/d)

For our site in Visp we are looking for more Plant Engineers (m/f/d) to support different facilities/plants.

Key responsibilities:

  • Planning and execution of partial and small projects, e.g. process engineering calculations and optimisations in the plant; feasibility studies for new plants and/or conversion of existing plants incl. cost estimates, deadlines and functionality; risk analyses, operational tests and conversions, deputies and services within the department

  • Ensuring that maintenance is carried out professionally and economically while at the same time ensuring sufficient plant availability, incl. dealing with the authorities

  • Working with SAP (placing orders, technical-commercial evaluations, capacity planning to optimise plant and personnel deployment etc.).

  • Collaboration in monitoring and adhering to the available budget (maintenance, conversions and investments) in the area of responsibility

  • Updating and checking the plant documentation, e.g. flow charts, zone and installation plans, parts lists, change management in accordance with GMP

  • Supporting trainings of the plant team and workshop personnel with regard to process and plant knowledge as well as safety, hygiene, environment and quality (cGMP)

Key requirements:

  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering etc OR technical college degree FH/HF

  • Experience in the field of Biotech/Pharma production preferred

  • Good knowledge of GMP, COMOS (Plant Engineering Software), SAP is an advantage

  • Ability to work independently and flexible, strong teamwork skills

  • Structured, focused and well organised work behaviour

  • Solution-oriented and open to new ideas

  • Fluent English is required, good German language skills would be an advantage
