Located in Stein, Switzerland our successful CDMO Business Unit Drug Product Services (DPS) currently offers exciting opportunities. Become part of a group that enables its customers to meet some of the greatest challenges in patient treatment and join us by applying for the position as Automation Lead supporting a new sterile Drug product facility.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop automation solutions for new equipment in close collaboration with Plant Engineer Electrical and MES Lead
- Oversee integrations between automation systems, support all qualifications/validations, and establish GMP documentation for use, maintenance and change of systems
- Manage project activities to meet scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality requirements
- Ensure consistency of documentation, use and maintenance of the site automation systems for Operations, Quality Assurance and Maintenance teams
- Ensure compliance of plants and buildings by implementing and adhering to quality standards and maintains the status of qualification by means of Change Control and other measures
- Provide technical availability of assigned plants, infrastructures, and buildings cost-efficiently
- Act as administrator for IT/OT automation, historical archiving systems and secure operation as well as maintenance of the automations IT/OT network
- Assure and comply with data integrity requirements for computerized systems as well as maintain history and records in electronical systems
Key requirements:
- Academic degree (MSc / BSc) in Electrical Engineering or Automation
- Profound knowledge of systems (e.g. SAP, BMS, PCS (e.g. DeltaV), PLC (e.g. Siemens SCADA), OSI PI Historian) and GMP
- Extensive experience in engineering / maintenance preferably in the aseptic manufacturing area
- Ability to effectively communicate, collaborate, and foster positive interactions with team members, project organization and stakeholders
- Fluency in English and German
