The IT Business Solution Leader Manufacturing and Product Life Cycle (PLM), within the IT Manufacturing Operations group, is in charge of the Digital Tech Transfer, Product Life Cycle and Shop floor scheduling technology capabilities. The role acts as business partner toward the global and site business organizations, supporting the identification and deployment of the right IT technologies to support the business strategy and growth of the digital maturity. The role owns the technology solutions and portfolio in the area of responsibility.
Who are you:
You are a senior manager, with an extensive background in manufacturing IT, supply chain IT, Product Life Cycle Management coupled with significant functional and process experience within manufacturing, ideally in a pharmaceutical sector. You are passionate about technologies, as well as business process design, you would like to be part of manufacturing site expansions and strategic digital initiatives.
Major accountabilities within the capabilities of responsibility (Shop Floor Scheduling, Digital Tech Transfer, Product Life Cycle):
Business Partnering:
Business partner towards the global manufacturing organization (e.g. MS&T)
Collect and manage demand for new capabilities and technology across all Lonza sites/divisions
Technology scout, assessments, strategy and roadmap:
Lead technology identification and evaluations studies
Drive the roadmap for the applications in the portfolio ensuring full alignment with the business strategy, under the leadership the Operations Domain Architecture
Projects and Program:
Projects and Program oversight, solution architecture, design, documentation
Business cases, estimation and capital requests preparation
Financial oversight and contract management in the portfolio in scope
Technology Life Cycle:
As technology owner accountable the full life cycle of the technology, 3rd party vendors contract, adherence to GxP regulations and audits
Leadership:
Develops strong credibility and manage relationships with IT and business stakeholders
Coaching and guidance to a team of direct/indirect internal and/or external experts
Key requirements:
Domain skills and experience:
Bachelor in the field of Engineering or Technology management
Strong process expertise in the functional area in scope (Manufacturing Scheduling, Tech Transfer, Product Management)
Deep knowledge of IT solutions in the capabilities in scope (e.g. Access Orchestrate, OMP and other shop floor scheduling tools, Emerson PKM and other Product Life Cycle Management tools)
Expertise in manufacturing execution systems, MES (e.g. Emerson Syncade, Rockwell Pharmasuite, Lonza MODA ES, others)
Strong expertise in master data management and data integration in the area of manufacturing (e.g. management of master recipes, BOMs, others)
Experience with Heath&Life Science/Pharmaceutical/Consumer sector
Must be business fluent in English
Extensive experience in working in regulated/GxP environments
