Record to Report Manager

The Record to Report Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing financial accounting activities. This position requires extensive knowledge of accounting principles and regulations and strong managerial and analytical skills. The Record to Report Manager will lead a team of professionals, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, adherence to regulatory requirements, and efficient operation of the record-to-report function. Accountable for high performance of service delivery and supporting continuous improvement of services for Record to Report. Accountable for team development.

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire record-to-report process, which includes activities such as journal entries, general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, others

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of professionals responsible for record-to-report activities, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.

  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment, promoting teamwork, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning

  • Set clear objectives, establish priorities, and allocate resources effectively to achieve departmental goals

  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure timely resolution of any identified control deficiencies or audit findings

  • Establish and maintain a robust system of internal controls over financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

  • Drive process improvements, standardization, and efficiency gains to enhance the quality and timeliness of financial reporting

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements or changes to support the record-to-report function. Work with other areas of Finance to identify and support Process Re-engineering and Continuous Improvement.

    • Drive a culture of Innovation and Continuous Improvement through best practice sharing, vocal advocacy, and visible hands-on leadership. Work with other areas of Finance to identify and support Process Re-engineering and Continuous Improvement.

Key requirements:

  • Advanced English Level (B2+, C1 level).

  • Accounting degree with a CPA certification.

  • At least 5 years of experience in Accounting processes in a Shared Service Center environment.

  • Significant experience in managing a team within periods of substantial change (e.g. Design & implementation of standard processes, process map documentation, process quality review & improvement).

  • Working experience in leading continuous improvement projects for Accounting.

  • MBA will be nice to have.
